Precise lipoma excision in Vizag, Hyderabad & Vijayawada. Tiny incision, clean excision, same-day procedure, zero recurrence.
A lipoma is a slow-growing, benign (non-cancerous) lump of fatty tissue that forms just beneath the skin, between the skin and the underlying muscle layer. Lipomas are soft, doughy, and freely movable when pressed. They are usually painless and most commonly appear on the neck, shoulders, back, abdomen, arms, and thighs.
While lipomas are completely harmless, they can become uncomfortable when large, cause cosmetic concerns, press on nearby nerves (causing pain or tingling), or grow rapidly — which warrants evaluation to rule out a rare malignant liposarcoma. SurgiKure performs minimal-incision surgical excision under local anaesthesia — a same-day, in-clinic procedure with minimal scarring and no recurrence of the excised lipoma.
Easily removed under local anaesthesia through a 1-2 cm incision as an in-clinic procedure. Same-day, home within an hour.
Requires careful dissection under local or general anaesthesia. Liposuction-assisted removal may be used to minimise the incision size.
May require general anaesthesia, especially if deep or near important structures. Careful dissection to avoid nerve or vessel injury. Hospital stay may be required.
Gold standard. A small skin incision is made over the lipoma, which is carefully shelled out intact along its natural plane. The incision is precisely placed to minimise visible scarring. Same-day, local anaesthesia.
A 3-4 mm cannula is inserted through a tiny puncture to aspirate the lipoma contents. Excellent for larger lipomas where minimal scarring is important. Slightly higher recurrence if the capsule remains.
A corticosteroid injection into the lipoma can shrink it by 30-60%. Not a cure — does not remove the lipoma — but useful for very small lipomas or patients unwilling to undergo surgery.
For small, asymptomatic lipomas that are not changing or growing. Annual review recommended. Surgery is planned if the lipoma enlarges, becomes painful, or raises concern.
